Architectural Models: This small house cut-away was built in about 1:35 scale. I had the idea to make it when I one day had some difficulty explaining to my wife something I was doing at work. So, I built this so that no matter what I was doing at work, I could use this to show her after I got home. My boss really liked it and plans on using it in the promotional video for our company. Here are some photos of the differrent sides. 1. Front left side 2. Front right side 3. Floor joists 4. Interior veiw, window and moulding |
| 1:6 Scale House Diorama: This is a project I began in 2001 not long after I began collecting 12 inch World War 2 action figures. As with my little yellow house, this was built true to life complete with wiring and plumbing which I left partially exposed for realism. Click Here to view the photos |

| 1:6 Scale Guard Shack: I originally began this project thinking that I was going to build a WWII German guard shack. Somewhere along the way I decided that I wanted to build an American one. I built it from my memories of the ones I stood guard at when I was in the Army back in the late 80's early 90's. This one is finished and is currently residing in Rhode Island. The gentleman who bought it has also asked me to build a guard tower and barracks for an RC tank trail he is building in his yard. Photos of the tower and barracks will be coming soon! Here are some photos of the differrent sides. 1. Front Door 2. Full Open Dutch Door 3. Half Closed Dutch Door 4. Interior veiw, notice the switchboxes and wiring. 5. Removable Roof and light fixture detail 6. Back Side |

1:18 Scale Iraqi Building: This is building I built for my 1:18 scale special forces figures. The building is actually constructed of two peices of styrofoam packaging that I glued and stapled together. I skim coated the entire building with regular 45 minute spackle, sanded, and painted it using textured paint to give it the look of painted concrete. All I have left to do is locate some authentic looking Iraqi posters and samples of grafitti so I can add more to the walls before I weather them. Photos Coming Soon! |
| 1:6 Scale German Guard Tower: This is my latest and largest structure, a German guard tower built from photos I found online. It is styled after the towers found in P.O.W. and concentration camps throughout Europe. This model as been finished and is currently residing in Massachusets. The client who bought it also owns my guard shack (mentioned above), our plans to build a 1/6 scale German Barracks were scrubbed due to him having to relocate. All the materials used in the construction of this tower had to be milled to be the correct size. I used Douglas Fir for the tower legs, box beams, girders, floor joists, ceiling joists and rafters. I used white pine for the flooring and roof sheathing as well as the knee wall framing, 4 x 4 posts, and ladder. The siding is 3/8 plybead to match the siding used on the guard shack. The entire structure is glued and nailed together with screws in concealed locations at the major stress points for strength. The tower features four wall mounted electrical boxes, a ceiling mounted light fixture (with interconnecting wiring), grab bars, safety chain across the ladder access on the back of the building, and asphault dollhouse shingles. Here are some photos of the differrent sides. 1. Front 3/4 Veiw. 2. Full frontal Veiw. 3. Machine Gunner's Post. 4. Entry way and Ladder Access. 5. Entry way detail, Grab Bars and Saftey Chain 6. Ceiling Detail and light fixture. |
