This is a project I began in 2001 not long after I began collecting 12 inch World War 2 action figures. As with my little yellow house, this was built true to life complete with wiring and plumbing which I left partially exposed for realism. At the time, we lived in a upstairs two bedroom condominium. I had no workshop like I do now and so building this was a huge consumption of space. I took a few weeks to build since I had to pull out all my supplies and tools in order to work on it (not to mention put away when I was done).
I started by laying out my wall plates and attaching them to the pine base. The walls were framed, windows installed, then the wiring and plumbing came next. Once that was done I glued on lots of thin lattice-like strips to fur out the walls on the inside and used planking to sheath the outside.Then coated the inside and out with spackle.
Once sanded, I painted the outside with textured paint to give the exterior a stucco like finish which I further trimmed to give the exterior a tudor-style look. I glued up wall paper in the inside as well as hung chair rail and crown moulding. Ever since then I've been working on the battle damage and even today make mior adjustments and touch ups.
Along with the this house I also built a section of floor and a peice of the roof which are meant to be accessories and part of the scenery. I will add more photos soon.

I do not build toys. I build scale model buildings, furniture and other hard to find, one of a kind accessories. Everything I sell is made by me in my home, no two pieces are the same and everything is built a close to real life as possible. My items are for serious collectors only and ages 15 and older.
